I am hoping to be travelling to Alba Adriatica on 18th March to see one of my favourite bands,PFM,in concert.Looks like I can get to Pescara by Ryanair ok.Now I need to get from Pescara airport to Alba Adriatica.
The flight arrives approx 4pm and I guess I have approx 2.5 hrs for journey. I think I can get train from Pescara,but how to I get from airport to train station.......how expensive would it be? If anyone could also recommend a good hotel in Alba Adriatica I would be much obliged. Thanks for any help John |

Take bus #38 from the airport to the train station. The bus leaves every 15 minutes and costs 0.70 euro. The trip is only 3 km, I think, so it won't be long.

Thanks for your help.I just realised I forgot my second question....perhaps you can help with this also.
On Trenitalia site there is mention of 3 stations in Pescara.Which one would the #38 bus take you to. Centrale.....Porta Nuovo....or S.Marco Thanks in advance Cheers John

It's not clear from the English translation, but the Italian side of the website makes it clear that the bus goes to "Centrale" as you would have expected...
