I am from Chennai, India. I am reaching Lahore on the 12th Feb. 2006 from Amritsar to witness Indo-Pak cricket match scheduled to be held on 13th Feb. I will be leaving Lahore on 14th Feb. to Amritsar. Can anyone suggest me in getting me a hotel/hostel room (in the economy range) near to the Gaddafi stadium during my stay. As my knowledge in Hindi is very limited, I will appreciate if anyone can help me. If u can post ur telephone no., I can call u over phone to get more details.

Also, please let me know what sort of transport will be available from the Pakistan side of Wagah border to Lahore.

There is a vter from Lahore , he lived in Lahore but not anymore i mean , but may be you could write him or check out his Lahore page and it might be of some help . His VT ID is 'Pakistaniguy '.
I dont live in LHR and havent beent there either so im sorry can't help you more with that . You can also search and see if there are any other active vt'ers from LHR on here .
