My fiance and I are looking to get married here early 2007. Any advice greatly received i.e.
is there somewhere i can get my hair done?
is it better to go half board, or stay b and b?

Has anyone been there before? Did you have good experiences?

My fiance and I are due to get married at the Eden Resort and Spa in April this year 2006. You can get your hair done at the hotel the cost is approximately £65. Hope this is of help to you.

HI, we got married at neptune hotel, (nx hotel)5 years ago, while family stayed at eden hotel.approx 3 hrs from airport, very clean, nice rooms, make sure you ask for beach view, Half board is ok, although our family did eat at out hotel. Not that much in area, so get out and about taxi, to galle for better places to eat, also Hikkaduwa has good food shacks, or did have, Have everything you can for wedding, kandy dancers, girls singing, buddist preist blessing wedding, dropping coconut leaves for luck, elephant ride, hotel will arrange ANYTHING you want, Sri lankan people are very friendly, we had a wonderful wedding and would reccommed to anyone...

We got married at Eden Resort April 10th this year and had a fabulous time. mandy had her hair done at Eden resort and it looked lovely. We went full board, but really did not need to, but I must say the choice of food was really excellent, whether you are a meat eater or a veggie like me. however, the hotel is owned by Muslims so you will not eating pork or bacon. I am not sure about the cost of half board v b&B but as Iiked the food so much, I would go half board. If you want to know more let me know, there is loads I can tell you but I have to leave right now so I do not have time.
