| Oxford | Overnight Parking for staying at Malmaison Posted: Fri January 27, 2006 07:25 AM UTC
We are booked to stay at the new Malmaison Castle hotel but they have no car park. It seems that the trains are on strike on Sunday (when we leave) so only bus service to Didcot Parkway then train. Is it safe to leave a car at the Park and Ride for 2 nights? If not then where would it be safe to park a car overnight. We are coming from South London so bus not an option as it would take us an hour to get to the Victoria bus station.

Hi
Because so few people risk parking overnight in the Park & Ride car parks your car will stick out like a sore thumb. You could try Gloucester Green, which is 5 minutes walk to the hotel and has an overnight car park, but is expensive if you leave the car there during the day, this is their link http://www.oxford.gov.uk/services/overnight-parking.cfm regards Alan
