if u can get USD290 for a cabana for a week in La Paz, this is really a good price~
i stayed there and found it nice, though i was unluckly not being able to get USD290 rate~

La Paz was very relaxing -
one day shopping on downtown -
USD25 for a very large mexican colorful blanket
USD18 for two pounds fresh T-bones, u can grill it in the garden outside the cabana
cheap and very good coffee beans - i did not buy any though
35 peso for a good lunch
one morning go panga fishing - USD130 for 4 person for a panga
(but i don't like the guy the owner recommended to us)
one day go snorkelling with sealions as suggested in the above
one day go beach visits, cactus forest
one day go small village visit
one day go whale-watching
