Saint Vincent and the Grenadines looking to rent Kayak and/or Dingey in Bequia and St. vincent
Posted: Tue January 24, 2006 09:40 PM UTC
My husband & I are spending 5 days in Bequia, and 4 days in St. Vincent late May 2006. We plan to bring our snorkeling gear and we are looking to rent Kayaks and or Dingey to exlore the coasts and snorkel. We're staying in Friendship Bay on Bequia and Villa Beach on St. Vincent. Any other ideas or hint's on the dos and dont's would be appreciated.

There is no dinghy/kayak rental on the Friendship Bay side of Bequia. There are plastic kayaks and hobie-cats available for rental in Low Bay but it is hard to track down who's renting them! You would be best to make arrangements with a fisherman on the Friendship side or a water taxi on the Admiralty Bay side. Also, the local dive shops take along snorkellers.

I don't know anything about kayak/boat rental in St. Vincent but given the wild nature of the Windward side (Villa excepted), it's not a place where I would like to go paddling or sailing in a small boat ! Your best bet, in my opinion, would be to go along with the dive shop.

HI, I just wanted to let you know that there are so many places that are absolutley beautiful and breathtaking in st.vincent and the grenadines. My advice would be to book a tour with Fantasea Tours in Villa in St. Vincent.

My experience with them have always been amazing and fun. They provide so much information, great times and especially great rum punch.

The man who owns it is Earl halbich and he really is quite the sea captain.

anyways, think bout it! :)
