Hi,
I may travel to Chiang Rai in May. I would very much like to stay somewhere near the Night Bazaar, preferably walking distance. Could not find much info on guesthouses nearby in the internet. Can anyone let me know how I can find the guesthouses? Thank you. |

Check out the latest edition of Lonely Planet. They are a couple of guesthouse charging from 100THB to 300THB, located near the Night Bazaar and Bus Terminal.

Try Travelfish at wwww.travelfish.org This is a great website on Thailand and they have a search facility for guesthouses on the bottom right on the homepage, just scroll all the way down. It has lots of info on guesthouses, plus a chance for those who have stayed to add reviews as well, which is very useful! Hope this helps!

A friend of mine said there is a new one called Diamond hotel. Nice and cheap.
I don't have phone number for this place. www.chattour.com is a nice house but not near night bazaar.
