Floating market: Damnoen Saduak or Wat Lamphaya?
Posted: Thu January 19, 2006 09:52 AM UTC
Okay... another floating market question ;)

I live in Bangkok and will be driving by own car. For this weekend, we (4 adults, 1 baby) plan to go out of town.

Which one is better? My Thai friend said Wat Lamphaya one (in Nakhon Pathom province) is better than Damnoen Saduak. It offers more local foods and not too crowded than the other one.

So what do you think, in terms of:
- flexible timing (if possible can be later than 6-7am)
- easy route to reach by car
- easy to park the car
- easy to access by walk and near to the boats (we don't intend to ride the boat)
- perfect location, situation, facility (e.g. small bridge) to take good overhead photographs
- optional, to buy some interesting stuffs
