Halal titbits and feng shui shops?
Posted: Wed January 18, 2006 02:27 PM UTC
Will be travelling down to Bangkok for the first time and staying at Asia Hotel.

1.Any advise on where can I find yummy titbits of Thailand which is halal so I may bring back to share with my colleagues in Malaysia? Ideas on what titbits I should be looking for will be most welcomed.

2.I need to find feng shui stuff for a friend, and appreciate if you could direct me to a comprehensive feng shui shop in Bangkok which is easy to find.

There are many Arabic/Indian halal restaurants in Nana area (Skytrain/BTS Nana). For snacks, you may find in some shops in MBK mall, but you need to know which one is halal. Try popular Durian chips, tom yum paste, dried squid, rice cracker, etc. You can find those in most supermarket.

I saw one Feng Shui shop (2nd floor) in Seacon Square mall (biggest mall in Bangkok and claimed to be one of the biggest in South East Asia), but it's in Bangkok suburb (Srinakarin road). About 30-45 minutes drive by taxi through toll way direction to Bang Na.
