Hi everybody,
I am going to Bolton, UK in couple of days and I would be grateful to get some info how to get from the Manchester airport to Bolton..what is the easiest way ? I have read something about the Transpennie express which takes you directly to Bolton ? is it true ? Thank you very much :) |

For train times and fares look at www.nationalrail.co.uk.........not sure which way the train goes, but suspect the Pennines come into it somewhere. Coaches are cheaper but slower....look at www.nationalexpress.com. You'll probably have to get into Manchester itself to get either, so google the UK pages on www.google.co.uk for 'manchester airport transport', which will tell you what options are available.

Northern trains leave the airport at 08, 27 and 47 minutes past the hour and go directly to Bolton in just under 40 minutes.
