Corregidor Island Travel Forum

i am from makati, how do i get to Corregidor? I would like to tour the area for a day, and wanted to be home before the day ends. please give me tips on how to go to the island without a tour guide (if that is possible) and be able to save during my trip.

Why not inquire with the cruise company at CCP Complex? As I know, they offer day trip for less than P1000/pax including the tram within the island. I'm just not sure if meals are part of it.

yes, thanks for the tip. i called them and they have a promo packaged tour. i think i will avail of that.. any tip you can give for me to enjoy my tour in corregidor. anything i should not miss in going to the island?

Don't miss the light and sound show. I missed it due to lack of time but I heard it's worth seeing. There's a fee I think, not sure...

Based on our experience >> The day-tour would cover the major spots within the island. you will notice that upon docking at the island, you hop right away into a tramvia and the tour starts right away and off you go to every place that could fit within the scheduled time until you get off the tramvia and board the boat back home. the only break is at lunch time. no extra time on your own.

about 20-30min stops on every spot. in short, the choice of places to tour around then depends on the IT of the guide.

hi asianbelle, i had the trip last weekend. it was fun, i really appreciate the look of the buildings, the island, the tunnel and every single battery house. i loved everything on it... the lights and sound show even was great. you should see it.

i want to go back to the place and stay longer :)

Glad to hear you enjoyed your trip. Mine was a decade ago and we took a navy ship from Sangley Point to Corregidor. I would also like to go back another time.
