Klaipeda a small apartment or a room
Posted: Wed January 11, 2006 09:31 PM UTC
Hi! Can anybody here help me to find a small apartment or a room to rent for three to four months in Klaipeda? I need it from June to September 2006 (maybe longer). I am writing a book, and I would like to pick up some Lithuanian culture and atmosphere. My budget is not so big, I can just afford up to 200 USD/month for rent.

Hope to get some good contacts!

Thanks in advance

well yeah...there are sites in Lithuanian, like www.aruodas.lt, www.alioreklama.lt, www.edomus.lt/ (the latter is in english too, I guess)...The best thing is to apply to the real estate company, however, they can charge you a lot :) don't know... With 200 USD/month you can rent a good one room flat... By the way, in that time prices may fall down... (here are some options in english: http://www.edomus.lt/?act=search.simple&deal_type=2&county=109&page_size=100&price_min=&price_max=&keyword=&search=Search)

yap, no problems with finding an apartment for 200usd, no wories, when you come to lithuania just go to tourist info center and they will (you should ask) help you with getting agencies number which rents rooms or flats. no wories, it is not difficult, mase sure that you sign an agreement if it is with agency, it is to make sure that they will not kick you out after a month.good luck, good choice to come here, visit surounding places too, its beautiufle in here, i am from klaipeda myself, if you need any other info contact at andrizali@lcc.lt
