| Bundesland Niederösterreich | Spending 3 days in Amstetten Posted: Thu January 5, 2006 04:58 AM UTC
We will be visiting in Amstetten for 3 days in late March, staying at the Hotel Exel and spending time with our son, who lives there and teaches at the Bundesgymnasium in Amstetten and at the Melk Abbey school. We plan to visit the Abbey and take some side trips, possibly to Salszburg or Linz. Does anyone have any other suggestions for things to do or see there during that time of the year?

take a look at my new page about Melk and you may see various places of interest in that area. St.Florian, Steyr, Enns, are some more possibilities.
