When is the best time to visit the Cliffs of Moher? I would love to take photos of the area. What is the weather like most of the time and when is the best time to go to Ireland?

We were there in August and it rained like hell. My daughter was there in mid July and the weather was great. It varies week by week. So go figure. It did clear up for some picture taking.

Our Summer would be the best time...if and when we get one! :-)..it can be a bit of hit and miss...but july to october would be good.The Cliffs are on the west coast and Atlantic,from where the westerly prevailing wind comes from. Enjoy!

agree with above - I have been to the cliffs twice - and they look great no matter what the weather. Bloody windy the first time - bone cuttingly so, but did not deter the enjoyment!
