Please can you give me suggestions of car hire options from Durban. I have checked out all the national brands and a number web-sites that do bookings for these companies. I am looking for local Durban companies.

I know you want a local Durban company. Just be careful. I don't at all say you might not find a local company that is good but make sure what you sign for. Read the fine print. Some of these companies have a very high liability fee if the car is an accident or gets stolen. We hire quite a lot and always used Avis. They are excellent but expensive. Last time in Durban we used Budget ( this was a week a ago) I found them much cheaper than Avis and also great service. Their liability fee is minimum which always gives me some peace of mind.
