Parque Nacional del Iguazł Hostels/Hotel Recommendations
Posted: Tue December 27, 2005 02:31 AM UTC
Hi There...

Three of us ladies will be flying from Buenos Aires to Iguazu Jan 4th - 7th but do not have a place in mind to stay. Someone made mention that it is much more expensive if you do not go through a travel agent or the airlines you flew in on to reserve. Is this true?

A few more questions if you have a moment...
Can we even find a clean & safe place upon arriving during holiday season? I
f yes, do you have any recommendations? I'm thinking we will be staying outside the park in Puerto Iguazu.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions/thoughts.

Happy new year too...
I was 2 months before in Iguazu and we stayed in the Iguazu golf resort. Very confortable and clean, large room in a quiet place. Look to my tips on this subject.

I would not recommend arriving without a room. You might not have much to choose from. I stay at the Sheraton in the park. Sure it costs more, but saves alot of travel time and waiting in line to enter the park. Especially at that time of the year the crowds can be large. Another very nice place to stay outside the park Iguazu Grand Hotel and Casino, but you will have a 20 minute taxi ride to get to the park entrance. If you stay in town, then you have an even longer ride. But where ever you stay, book a room in advance.
suerte
SAM
