RE: RE: RE: Easter with children in Tallinn Posted: Sun March 26, 2006 02:00 PM UTC
Well, it's closer to the time now - just two weeks to go - we can't wait!
A couple of questions - does anyone know if the fast ferries will be running to Helsinki by 10th April? Lindalines website says they won't start until 21st April, Tallink (www.tallink.ee) don't have their English pages working at the moment and I can't read the Estonian, I'm afraid! Do we have any alternatives for a day trip to Helsinki?
We've got a short list of things to do/places to take the kids (2 boys aged 4 and 6)- the Tallinn Zoo, the Puppet theatre (Johnny's Seven Friends sounds good), the Kalev Spa water park (www.kalevspa.ee) and ice skating at Jeti (www.jeti.ee) - which should amuse everyone else as none of us has ever ice-skated before!!
We've also booked a Bach concert at the Estonia Concert Hall for our last night (14th April). I don't think we'll be bored.....
Does anyone have any other suggestions?
Many thanks,
Izaac
