We are planning to go there this weekend, but someone told us that one day is enough for the park. We are travelling with a baby, so we are not masters of our time... Are 3 days too much for Death Valley National Park?

You aren't going to do any major hiking, so most of your visits will be to places on or close to the paved roads. As such, I can't imagine needing more than a day or two to drive to everything.

Yes, if you aren't doing any hiking and only have a 2-wheel drive vehicle then a weekend would be fine. I'm not sure how much snow they've had in the mountains but if its a lot then you can stick to the valley part of the park.

i'd plan on 2 days. be sure to do the tour at scotty's castle.

2 full days should suffice. Make sure that you get up to see Scotty's Castle while you are there.
