WHICH IS BEST FOR TEENS AND ADULTS? MONTEZUMA, SANTA TERESA OR PLAYA GRAND NORTH??
Posted: Mon December 19, 2005 08:37 PM UTC
We are looking to visit in late June. Two adults and 2 teenage boys(17) and girls(14)! Am I nuts? Anyway, I like the smooth sand beaches and lots of activity options for all involved. I have picked some hotel options in all areas but just can't lock in on one.
The reason I would look north of ST is that it is Green Season and perhaps drier the more north one gets. Does anyone have any thoughts on this.
Hotels being considered:
Gilded Iguana Nosara
Villa Baula Playa Grande
El Jardin in Montezuma
Blue Jay Lodge in Santa Teresa
Tropico Latino

Hello,

I stayed at El Jardin Hotel in Montezuma a couple of years ago. It is the best and most expensive hotel in the village. See my info here http://members.virtualtourist.com/m/3778e/9ca/3/.
Montezuma is a hippy town, not much activities to be found. Beach isn't the nicest either. On my page you can see a few photos. The most fun you can expect if you rent one of those sand scooters (motorbikes) and ride them on the beach but that's it. Never heard of the other 2 places you mentioned.

Hope this helps,

Srechko
