Hi there! There is a group of 7 of us that will have one full day in Tortola in December. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to the "not to miss" places to see and things to do while there.

Yes, I would go to Virgin Gorda too, but I would go to Devil's Bay rather than the Baths (although they are next to each other), it should be quiter. If you are coming in on a cruise ship, it will be very busy though. Or if not, check that no curise ships are in, the Baths will be packed..

Hey, there's LOTS to do right on Tortola too, including a visit to Soper's Hole or Cane Garden Bay. But you didn't say what kinds of things you'd like to do.
Good general info link is the BVI Tourist Board's site: http://www.bvitouristboard.com/ Road Town is the main town on Tortola, but Soper's Hole is much more fun for a shopping trip or spending a playing day around.
