Plan to arrive in Koh Tao on Dec 22 for 3-4 days of diving and relaxing. I here that its not diving season for Koh Tao in Dec. What does that mean exactly? Is the ocean very rought then?

Hows the weather there now?

Thanks.

It's difficult to give you an exact answer about what weather to expect then as it's still the monsoon season, which last until mid-January roughly. This year there seems to have been more rain than normal. I've heard people go in December and have good weather, others I know have been rained out. If it's raining hard you can expect choppy/rough seas. I think the chances of you having a rain-free holiday are slim at that time of year.

Maybe other people who have visited at this time of year can post their experiences.

Regards,
Dean.
