Do you think that Antibes is a good place for a couple of students from Florida to spend a semester?

What are you studying and at what school in Antibes?

It's a lovely town except in tourist season when it's a madhouse with traffic moving about 2 kph.

If you want a university experience, you might want to consider a university town. Let us know what you have in mind and you'll probably get lots of advice.

Qieten down class. Now you listen to that Beausoliel.

To be honest with you Antibes is lovely - for me - but that's because I'm probably three times your age. Its "different strokes for different folks"
as I believe you Americans say.

Nice has the Centre Universitee Mediterranean and a much larger young scene, if that's important to you. Bars with live music, stuff that I hate.

I think its important to consider if you plan on speaking French here, or want to hang around with other American students. That might be the clincher.

My son-in-law studied international marketing somewhere in Antibes and he loved the place, so you can't get it wrong whichever you finally choose.

Cheers,
