Reno Airline Award Travel out of Reno
Posted: Wed December 7, 2005 07:46 PM UTC
Hi, I just recently moved out to Lake Tahoe (from Boston) and was wondering what airline(s) offer award travel departing from Reno. I do a fair amount of travel for work, so I'd like to try to accumulate miles with one of those airlines. In Boston, I flew with American Airlines pretty often, but it doesn't appear that they offer ANY award travel out of Reno, so I'm done with them.

Thanks,

-Kurt

The best deal I have found so far is the new Blue sky card from AA your pints are good on ANY airline ANY hotel ANY rental car, you just have to book travel via there web site. We are saving oure points for trip to Lisbon. My son mother in law just redeemed her points last summer for a trip for 6 to France and the entire trip didn't cost her dime. We charge EVERYTHING and pay the charges as we get them that same day online. No bill at end of month but we gained points.

We have lived in Reno for many, many years and our favorite airline for long distance travel is American. We use our milage quite often. You usually have to fly through Chicago or Dallas. For shorter distances Southwest is a good choice for milage.
