Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you have info on baseball in Cuba, specifically Holguin. i'm hoping to catch a game when i'm there from Dec 30 - Jan 6. the only sites I can find on baseball in cuba are either poor in content, or are in Spanish. I'm having enough trouble with the english language, and really can't see myself learning enough spanish to figure out what those sites are saying. lol

Man, I just wanna let you know that our Serie Nacional will take a rest from december 30th to january 4th, 2006...so, you only could see baseball in january 4th and 5th...
...and i don´t know if Holguin will be Home Club this days...I live in Havana. I 'll try to get some info and I let you know after...

It appears that you have picked a Home Game week for the Holguin team. Lucky you!
The estadio column is the location of the game to be played. So it would appear that Holguin (HOL) does have a home game on Jan 4 at 5:00 at the Calixto Garcia Stadium in Holguin as well as at 8:00 the same date and place. Jan 5 the game is at 1:30, Jan 6 is at 8:00 and Jan 7 at 8:00.

...you will see a game for sure. Holguin has a team, not a good one, lol...but they play in our National Series. It start in november, so, you gonna see baseball while in Cuba.
