Looking for Cheap Housing/Rental for one month (12/13 to 1/13)

I'm going to be visiting relatives who live in Trier and I'm having a hard time finding an apartment, bed & breakfast or house to rent for 30 days or so.

I prefer the inner city since I will be using public transportation. Any advice will be helpful.

Finding an apartment or a house can be difficult, it would have to be a holiday home or apartment .Not all of them are open year round.
