hi,
does anybody know how much time it would take me to go from Cuzco to Titicaca? also, what is there to do once i get there? and, will 2 nights be enough to get the gist of it? lastly, can i "use" the couple of nights in Titicaca as my altitude acclimatization? Thanks for any help md |

By bus or car, it is between 4.5 and 5.5 hours. The train takes over 10 hours.
Puno is the main town on the Peru side of Titicaca, and is worth a couple of nights. Puno is higher than Cusco, but may help acclimatise if you were going on to the Altiplano in Bolivia, which is higher again.
