How I can get from Krakow (Poland) to Poprad (Slovakia)? If it's possible, pls suggest different ways. And how much does it cost?

there is daily train from krakow to budapest that passes through Slovakia. i don't know if it stops in Poprad but i am sure it does in Kosice and Poprad is easily accessed from there.

Hello,
Train is very slow! Go by bus to Zakopane then to Kraków or go to Liptovsky Mikulas and and direct bus to Kraków (on saturdays, price~~ 6 Euro) or Liptovsky Mikulas- Nowy Targ- Kraków. BR, Maciek

But one more question. Could you maybe advise the web link where I can find train & bus schedule? And, Maciek, the bus Kraków - Nowy Targ - Liptovsky Mikulas goes through Poprad, yea?! Thanks, Greetings! Karina

Hello, Maciek!
Thank you very much for your help! Yes, I understand, in general.. :) I already been to Poland, in Krakow as well, just by car, and already used to guess what local people say, because they often don't speak english, so you have no other way then to try to guess what is written & said. :)And after some time I already could say some words in polish :)of course now I'm forgetting. In case I will have something, I do not understand, will know whom to ask for translation, thank you! That's very nice, that you've visited Latvia & liked it. I also liked Poland. If you'll decide to come to Latvia again, and will need some help, or translations, write me too! By the they, Saaremaa island in Estonia is a good place! I've been there this September. Best wishes! Karina

My sister and brother in law live in Zdiar, that is between Krakow a Poprad. They manage a hostel there. Let me know if you are still in the region and you need a help. Lubo

Hi, hi!
Thank you for help offer! I'm not in the location right now. I'm planning to be there in the end of February. And actuallly I already have the place where to stay. But you can send me some info about their hostel to my e-mail, and their contact details. Who knows, maybe I will need some help later. It's always good to know local people. Thank you very much, once again. Karina
