cheap accommodation near the carling academy

i know its not very likely that anyone can help, but is there anywhere cheap around the carling academy where 5 of us (who are all under 18) could stay after a gig on january 27th?

Unfortunately, that isn't the best end of town to be in for hotels. Check out the Ibis, Holiday Inn Express, Days Inn, or Etap. They're all a shortish walk.

Birmingham is really poorly catered for as cheap rooms go, although I think the Etap (which is brand spanking new) is really cheap. Check out www.beinbirmingham.com - the tourist board can sort you out if you are stuck. Hope this helps.

you could try http://www.birminghambackpackers.com/ they are a backpackers hostel in Birmingham and I think they have a few locations. Also Etap...
