Hi, has anyone been to Dover recently? Im after what you thought about it? Famous White Cliffs, gorgeous Castle etc etc.

I found Dover itself quite boring but the castle is a top sight. Very educating to tour its rocky interior and see the war rooms, hospital etc. and also to visit the medieval keep. Made you realise the strategic importance throughout times.

Yes. I went to Dover in the school holidays and went to the Castle and the tunnels built into the cliffs.

Well worth the trip for that alone.

Dover itself is not all that atractive although on the edge there is Kearsney Abbey and the attractive water gardens that surround it.
