I am working in Lahore 9-27 December. I am a female runner. Can I run in Lahore? If not, can I join a gym temporarily?

What do I need to pack for clothing?

I am staying in Gurumani Road, Gulberg-II. What is this like?

I agree with Imran. You can run in Lahore (early in the morning) but not in the rush hours. Gilberg is a nice posh area of the city. December is a bit cold but you can have bright sunny days. Light jacket/jersey etc. will be sufficient.

I am also agree with both of them, it will be cold during that time of the year ther are chances for rain too. You can run with out any problem.

During your stay please do not miss to go to

Lahore Fort
Royal Mosque,
Wagha Border and
Food Street


If you are intrested in Gandhara then you have to drive till Taxila.

Lahore is a very polluted and congested city , i would only advise running in the very early morning, no other times as the city is busy until the early hours , get ready for an extreme assault on all your senses, Karachi would be better running by the sea,bon voyage Tony
