Hi folks,
Was wondering if anyone has tips on a YMCA or youth hostel in Vientiane please? Also, is there a Hare Krishna temple in the region? Any must-go night-spots, shopping malls, etc worth recommending? Which is the best place for authentic souvenirs shopping, and quality electronic equipment? Your help/tips would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance Darshan |

I noticed your passion for the Hare Krishna temples... the motherload of them all are in India, on the cities of Vrindavan and Mathura. Over there you will find the birthplace (Mathura)and many of famous settings for the stories behins Krishna. If you want to be in for a treat, visit during Krishna's bday to see the many festivals in the region.
