I am a SoCal native and plan on relocating to IF due to work and to get out of SoCal's hustle and bustle. I'd love to hear from native IF'ers or people who have been living here and to see what their impression of IF has been. I am married with 2 kids (3 y/o and a 3 month old). How are the schools there? It seems like a very beautiful, idyllic place.

i went to college 20 miles from there but, quite awile ago. It is a VERY family oriented part of Idaho due to the prevalence of the LDS, Mormons.
The winters can get to -45 and the summers were quite nice. There is alot of activities for families. If I remember correctly it is the Bonneville County seat.

is it somewhat modern? I saw pictures of the downtown? it looks like it's out of 'Back to the Future"..not that it's wrong..looked quaint, cute. What are some fun things to do there? Is it a safe city?
