Boulogne-sur-Mer Bus from Calais to Boulogne?
Posted: Mon October 31, 2005 01:35 PM UTC
We're planning a day trip to France on Sunday 6th Nov.

We'll be foot passengers on a ferry to Calais.

Is there a bus that we can get to Boulogne? We'd specifically like to go to Nauiscaa, if poss but that depends on public transport.
Any info on bus numbers, timetables and cost would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,

I don't know about a bus but the SNCF has a train that goes from Calais to Boulogne-sur-Mer where Nausicaä is located. Boulogne-sur-Mer has it's own website and tourist office so perhaps you could contact them.

http://www.tourisme-boulognesurmer.com/uk/index.php (Boulogne-sur-Mer)

www.sncf.fr (trains)

I checked the round trip and it's about 12.50 euros round trip but I'm not sure where the station is located in relation to Nausicaä.

Good luck,

Emily

Boulogne has 2 stations: Ville and Tintelleries. Of the two, Tintelleries is the nearest to Nausicaa (400m?).
