I have 1.5 free days in Lausanne - how to use it best? What are the main attractions?

The Olympic Museum, (that I can only say I tried to find but got impatient when I couldn't and left for easier things to do).
I enjoyed the Swiss National Museum in Prangins, which is about a 20-30 minute drive from Lausanne.

Walk through the old town. Go to the cathedral - from the tower you can overlook the lake and the mountains behind.
The Olympic museum is in Ouchy, at the lake shore - on the opposite end of the M1 metro line (actually a funicular) from the old town. If you have some more time, take a train to Montreux. The castle and the town are worth seeing. It is nicer to go there by boat but unfortunately the winter schedule has only a few boats along the shore.
