| Nuweiba` | Places to Eat Posted: Mon October 24, 2005 11:55 AM UTC
Any suggestions for places to eat? Looking for places that serve food that is not along the lines of burger bars, pizza palaces, KFC, etc. i.e. more local food.

Look for a guy around here called Swissinai. He is the expert on Nuweiba. He runs a hotel out there and they have a restaurant.
http://www.swisscare-hotels.com/ Good luck! Dora.

Thank you kindly Dora... yes... we do do good food... other places to try in Nuweiba would be the Ciao Hotel ( good pizzas ), The Chinese Restaurant ( though that is quite pricey ) and various cafes and that at Tarabeen, ( Hala is one of the better ones ).

I really like Swissianai's website and the place is very conveniently located to where we are staying. I think the fish restaurant looks great. So we will go there in a couple of weeks.

Thank you for your kind invitation! Unfortunately we will only be in Nuweiba
for the one night. We visit St Catherine's Monastery in the morning and then travel on to Nuweiba. The next day we will probably go to the Coloured Canyon and then in the late afternoon continue on and over to Aqaba. As you may have gathered, we are part of a group, so this will just be a taster trip of Egypt and Jordan. However, we will be in Nuweiba the night of the 8th November and will plan to come and eat at your restaurant. We are staying at the Regina Nuweiba, which, I gather from the location link in your website, is right next to where you are located!
