Hello,
We are traveling to Argentina in December/January. Most of our travel will be by bus. We are flying to PM and would like to head to Bariloche from there. Does anyone know a bus company that has an overnight bus for this route? Preferably one with a website... Thanks. |

there is no airport in Puerto Madryn, it's in Trelew, about 70 km from there. Fore sure you will find busses. What I suggest is that you get the lonely planet "south america on a shoe string", I used that 3 times for argentina and it's really usefull.
You'll love Puerto Madryn and going to see the penguins, seals and so on...wow, i'd like to go back.. have fun ps= i know there was until 2003 a bus leaving in the evening Trelew arriving next day to Bariloche, 13 hours, about 30 dollars. Not sure about now.But it's easy to find it out, people in argentina are very helpfull and friendly. Everything is super organized with transportation.

This will give you the schedule of buses from PM to Bariloche. Also there is an airport in PM. American Falcon has service from AEP to PMY. There are not many flights and most stop in Trelew first but there is service to PM. SAM

sorry Porteno, i didn't know there was an airport, when i was there the travel agency "forced" me to fly out of Trelew, I was told there was no airport.. maybe i was off season?

No problem, there just aren't many flights and most people are routed through Trelew also LADE flies to PM as well.
