I would like to have any information on 'diving' around Phuket. I would like to do my PADI cert. for open waters and advanced open waters.

Would like to know wich scholl is good and also wich Island are worth seing. I will have about 8 days to spend for diving.

I will be there from nov 9th to the 17th of 2005.

Any suggestions are more then welcome
Thanks

Here's a page that has basic scuba information about Phuket and links to much more specific info:

Sunrise Divers is a good place to start, most of the diving areas are by boat trip from Phuket. These can all do PADI

I don't know if you can get both your open water and advanced open water certs back to back like that in such a short period of time, but even if you can I wouldn't recommend it. Assuming this is your first time diving, you really should get some decent experience under your belt before you do the advanced courses.

I got my advanced open water cert from Santana Diving in Phuket, and I highly recommend them.
