| Tahiti | Tahiti for 3 days Posted: Fri October 14, 2005 05:17 PM UTC
After touring Australis for 20 days we want to just relax on a beautiful beach with good food. For approximately $150/nite, where should we go? preferable with breakfast.
Thanks Sandy |

Hi, Last Xmas we had 2 nts in Sheraton Papeete and then crossed by ferry to Moorea for a week in our timeshare exchange. It was probably the most expensive place we have had a holiday. We are frequent travellers; 3-4 overseas trips a year, and have lived overseas as expats for 15 years! The timeshare resort can be found at www.clubbalihai.com and they have internet specials for beachfront bungalows for $156 available. Log onto the Tahiti tourist info. site to see what other cheapies are going, but forget about Bora Bora etc. Pearl Beach Resort looked great, overwater bungalows etc. but they are pricey. Eating out and car hire to get around the island is VERY expensive. Everything is imported from USA, NZ and Aust. 8 hrs flying time from anywhere sure puts up the prices. Speaking French is the least of your worries! Good luck.
