How early does Jackson ski resort open? Any snow, skiing around Thanksgiving?

You will find that the Jackson ski resorts will open when it snows. Perhaps you should direct your question to mother nature. The Jackson area is a fantastic place to ski, enjoy the beautiful outdoors and all the Jackson area has to offer.

The other responses were right- the answer is "When there's enough snow". Targhee usually opens around Thanksgiving. Google JHMR and Grand Targhee and check out the webcams and reports. Here is a link to some -
