Hi I would like to do a house exchange from salisbury to Teignmouth. I wouldn't mind any area, but not Kingsway Estate as I have heard that it's rough. Can any one give me any advice please? I would like rented council, as I cant afford to buy. Thanks. :)

on the whole teignmouth is a nice enough holiday town, but like many of these smallish places has tended to attract some less than desirable elements. there are no big estates as such, however i suppose that is irrelevent if your neighbours are odious so and so's who regard asbos as badges of honour.
you will probably be well aware but property prices down here are very expensive indeed, and as for council accomodation it is impossible. i wish you luck
