Are there ANY hotels in Kawthoung...i.e w/ a 3 day visa I want to stay one night in Burma (to coordinate my exit from Thailand a month later...long story but things would be a lot easier if I re-entered Thailand the day after I leave). Any info would be helpful.

As I know there are two hotells in Kawthoung.
One Honey bear - in the harbour as I heard is very louldly. Another one is Kawthoung Motel - 800 baht/night. in January 2007. somebody (i am sure from hotell staff) came in to our room att 3 pm and stole our mobile phone and some money. When we complained with the manager he replaid - "It's your fault! you didn' lock the doors", and didn't want to call the police.
