Athens-Izmir (Turkey) Ferry??

Hi all
you r doing great job here i would like to ask for a favour from you.i am coming round Athens on 10th of november by plane and turning back on 20th of November. Are there any ferries from Athens to Izmir?

you can get a ferry from athens to samos then a boat to kusadasi then a short bus journey to izmir i know when i do the trip in the summer it takes me overnight roughly 11 hours from athens to samos then about 90 minutes to kusadasi but only 2 boats a day not sure about november check out www.ferries.gr and aegeantourtravel.com or ankertravel.net

Hello! Unfortunately thereis no connection with Izmir, either no plane directly. I have travelled so many time to Izmir, via Istanbul, or from Athens there is a more easy way: You have to take the ferry or a plane from Athens to Chios island.Ticket plane costs about 150 euro roundtrip.Then from Chios island you take the boat and you reach Cesme in 30 minutes (From Samos is more far away to Kusadasi, it takes about 2 hours to reach kusadasi) From Cesme you may take the bus, there is very good bus transportation in Turkey). I think its the best way:))
