| Tinh Da Nang | RE: Hoi An Posted: Wed October 12, 2005 03:37 PM UTC There're some great resorts at Cua Dai Beach, 5km from Hoi An downtown. The best one is Victoria Hoi An Resort ($70-$200/nite)www.victoriahotels-asia.com The new-opened Palm Garden Resort's also nice ($40-$150/nite)www.pgr.com.vn The only thing you should do in Hoi An is hanging around its small, cute streets

Hoi An is a beautiful town the small streets have lots of traditional tmeples and houses that you can do on a tour. They are also lite up at night by many lanterns. Tailors are in abundance if you need some clothes made.
If you are feeling charitable there is an orphange called Hoi An Orphanage 04 Nguyen Truong To St (0510)916482 my friend recently visited on her second visit they took a 10 kilo bag of rice and gave directly to the director Pham Thi Cong not the security guards and were told it would feed the kids for 1 week!!!!! she also told them any clothes, school stuffs pencils etc would be appreciated. My friend visited twice and found it incredibly moving experience spending time with kids whose only crime is that their parents are too poor to support them. Check out Sinh Cafe hotels page they have quite a few hotels our hotel did not have resort style facilities.
