Thinking of flyng into Gib and then hiring a car for excursions into Spain. What is it like to get off from the Rock into Spain?
Are there still the long queues getting through the border to La Linea? |

The queues tend to be the other way round - getting off the rock is far less time consuming that getting on to it.

I think it is cheaper to actually hire a car across the border in Spain. Crowne Car hire is just a couple of minutes walk on the road facing the border controls, the McDonalds is on the right hand side and just about 100 yards up on the left is the car hire place.
