Assalaamualaikum
dear Sister, Azizia ia quite far from the Haram but nevertheless it is a good region. I don't know about the hotels there but they seems good you may try to find out at www.makkahgis.net but you won't find out whether it is good or not. Rely on your group leader but do ask him about the room and the toilet especially. And as it is quite far you will need to travel to the haram, how you will get there? Whether there will be special transport etc? Al Azizia is a very good shopping places with good shopping centre and you will get almost everything material there. You may chose to go for Asr and stay there till Esha. Forget not that window shopping may cost you lots of time and also make you tired as the shopping malls are really very huge and all interesting to see. Specially before the five days of Hajj you may chose to sacrifice a little shopping curiosity. The Tawaaf also is very tiresome. You may still chose not to do it some days before Hajj if you happen to have done it before (i.e. when you arrive in Macca). Last advice to you and your family. It will be winter in Hijaz at that time. Have your shawl or pullovers ready both for you and your family. Even if it will be hot during the day forget not to carry the woolen stuffs if you are going to arrive at the hotel after Esha. When you go for Madina, please also keep the wools and add a head shawl for the boys. You could be more than surprised when you get down in Madina as it is colder being on higher altitude. May Allah bless you and those dear to you. May you have a blessed Ramadan and forthcoming Hajj. Forget me not in your duahs if possible on Arafat days. Wassalaam Yussuf (from Mauritius)
