| Natal | Why did you like of hate you're pousada in Ponta Negra ?? Posted: Wed October 5, 2005 08:52 PM UTC I am a regular (European,Belgian) traveller to Brasil, but first-timer in Natal... As I go there next November, there will be lots of choice in accomodation in Ponta Negra. Can anyone share his experience on Pousada's in Ponta Negra? Not just the best or the cheapest It would be very nice to know "why" someone (==>you) liked or didn't like you're stay there.... Also some tips on pousada's on the way to Canoa Quebrada and Fortalesa are welcome TNX for reactions |

There is an Italian pousada called Maresaias or something like that. Not a bad pousada. R$80 for a couple. Private room with balcony, bathroom, clean, fan, nice owners. Close to everything. You can find cheaper. Great breakfast and about 2 blocks from the beach. It's a great pousada to stay in your first night while you check out other ones. It's medium cost and good location. Oh, has a pool too with hammocks. If you are going to stay a while and can utilize all the perks I'd say go for it. BTW, If you are standing facing the pousada and walk about 100 meters to your right there is a VERY cheap internet place (R$2/hr)
