I will have an overnight in Doha later this month.
Can smbd inform me about the best shopping mall in Doha.
How taxi works there ???

I don't know about the BEST, but the biggest is City Centre mall in the West Bay, and the taxi works just as it works everywhere else :)

For the taxi, I meant do they have meter or should i bargain the price ??

Well that will depend on a taxi. Make sure there is a meter inside, if not - agree on the fare before you drive off. There are three kinds of taxis in Qatar - orange and white cabs, most of those are old, some lack proper air conditioning and meters, those are really cheap. New blue taxis, called Karwa, are more or less decent, but a tad more expensive. These can be ordered by phone, 4588888. There is also a limousine service, which is not so cheap, but definitey the best way to move around. Let the word "limousine" not put you off, just better quality cars with much better service. Try 5394942. These guys will help you with your shopping bags, wait for you if necessary, and so on.

It this point, I'd recommend the Carrefour Mall. That is, if you're looking for a completely commercial and family-oriented experience, and western style shopping. They even have an Ice Skating Rink!

Actually I spent my doha overnight on 23rd/24th of Oct.
QR put me at the Sheraton, not far from a big shopping mall (I guess WestBay) but did not get a chance to visit there.
The Sheraton is too good (see my Qatar page) and I wanted to take advantage of it !
Hope I will have the opportunity next time.
