I usually orgamise my own holidays from start to finish but when we try a new country I like to use a company. We fancy Brazil but we are still not convinced.
We have looked at Portland Direct brochure and there are one or two good deals. It looks like there are many hotels that are being refurbished and this would make old reviews redundant. therefore can anybody give up to date info on Parque da Costeira, Vila do Mar and the Ocean Palace. Being a novice can you also advise about type of weather to expect in October. Thanks |

Ocean Palace: some consider this the most sophisticated and best hotel of Natal (for other the best is Pestana), with aquatic park, 150 m of deck over the sea, hydro massage, wet bar and one of the best restaurants of Natal (Le Soleil) (www.oceanpalace.com.br)
Vila do Mar: one of the oldest (1986) and most traditional hotels of the Via Costeira, 210 rooms with veranda and sea view (www.viladomar.com.br) Parque da Costeira: more business travel oriented. Very good restaurant. Three folkloric shows per week, 4 swimming pools and superb 350 m deck over the beach. (www.parquedacosteira.com.br) The weather should be perfect in October, warm, sunshine and no rain (wet season starts in November) Luc, Paraty RJ, Brazil

Hiya
im staying at the Vila Do Mar Hotel in April and would love to hear more about it. Also more about the area too.. What is the weather like in April too? It will be my 21st Birthday whilst im out there & id like to do something special for it, any recommendations??
