Estado de Nayarit	Is surf up in January? Posted: Mon September 26, 2005 10:38 PM UTC I'm staying in San Pancho and Punta Mita in January. My daughter (who has surfed before) and I (with no surfing history) want to try surfing at either or both places. What is the surf like there in January? Is it good for a beginner? I'm staying in San Pancho and Punta Mita in January. My daughter (who has surfed before) and I (with no surfing history) want to try surfing at either or both places. What is the surf like there in January? Is it good for a beginner? What beaches in the area are the best for beginning surfers? You don't need a wetsuit in January, do you?
