Hi, I am travelling with my parents to Messina (via a cruise ship) in October. My dad is in a wheelchair. Does anyone know what the transport is like from where cruise ships dock (are there cabs for hire?) and are there any accessible sights we can take him to that aren't too far away? Thanks Pete

Hi,
From where the ship docks it you could follow all the way the promenade and arrive at a large viewpoint on the water (passeggiata a mare) with trees and seats. It also should be easy to go and visit the cathedral and the main square. Ciao, Isolina
